Overview

Samantha Gleit is a partner at Feuerstein Kulick and leads the firm’s debt finance and corporate restructuring practices. Samantha specializes in advising institutional and alternative investors, as well as companies (ranging from startups to public companies) on high-risk lending, creditors' rights, and corporate restructuring.  

Samantha’s expertise includes leveraged finance, debtor-in-possession financing, acquisition financing, senior and subordinate debt structures, receiverships, foreclosures, and in-court and out-of-court workouts. She also regularly advises companies on growth strategy, capitalization, and compliance.

Samantha was selected by Crain's New York Business for their list of "2023 Notable Women in Law"; and in 2021 was selected by Law360 as a "Rising Star" in the legal industry, honoring attorneys under 40 whose legal accomplishments transcend their age. Samantha was also selected as a Super Lawyer in the 2024-2025 editions of New York Metro Super Lawyers®, as well as a Rising Star in their 2015 –2023 editions, and has been featured in The New York Times Magazine Super Lawyers® Top Women Attorneys in the New York Metro Area annually since 2015.

Samantha is an adjunct professor at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she co-teaches a course in cannabis law.  Her publications include having co-authored an article featured on the cover of the ABI Journal discussing suggested reforms to the federal bankruptcy process.  Earlier in her career, Samantha was awarded the International Bar Association’s Insolvency Scholarship for her award winning article on distressed law firms. Prior to joining Feuerstein Kulick, Samantha worked at King & Spalding LLP in New York, in the corporate finance and investments group.
